Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Canon imageCLASS MF4150 Laser Duplex P/s/c/f 21PPM AdfCustomer Review: Great product for classroom Summary: 5 StarsI use this copier in a highschool classroom. The students use it daily to make copies of their projects to keep in their portfolios. The controls are easy to use and it makes really quick copies. I use it most for copy reductions as well as 2 copies on 1 page. Great product for the price. I have recomended it to my co-workers!
Customer Review: Good printer in this price range Summary: 5 StarsEasy setup, compact size, crisp sharp print out. After long research the best value for a Multi functional Laser from a good brand as Canon
Customer Review: works on Apple MAC computers YEA ! Summary: 5 StarsWe've got three of these machines, and they work great on Windows PC computers, but also was happy to find out that our Mac works great with it too. On the Apple Mac computer, we can print from our OS 10.3.9 system easily (have not tried duplexing, but found a site on the web where someone else figured out a workaround, so with lots of work, it may be possible.) It totally does definitely function as a standalone COPIER with a Mac, and as a PRINTER, and also no problem with it as a FAX machine. My understanding is that it won't work as a SCANNER. That's okay with me, since the machine will COPY, FAX, and PRINT on the Mac computer. Highly recommended. Has held up really really well. Occasionally, the paper feed fails and gives an error message for no reason. Just shut off the power switch, and turn it back on and it is fine then. Can't think of a better machine in this price range. Good quality images, and very sturdy. Long lasting laser cartridge, after you get a replacement one.
Customer Review: it's good but the toner is expensive. Summary: 4 StarsIt works as expected, easy to use and setup.
But the toner is expensive and the starer toner is only 1/4 full.
Customer Review: Nice multifunctional machine for the money!! Summary: 4 StarsI read reviews until I had a headache and finally decided to purchase a Canon. I wanted a photo copier (not easy to find) for the speed of printing documents and also flexibility of being able to place objects on the glass for print. Also I can't see paying the costs for a mgenta cart., then a black, then a yellow...what a pain and a costly one!! My last toner cartridge lasted years but was $200 to replace. Then I thought mmm...new at $200 or replace at $200 (wow). During the checkout process through Amazon of a different model it showed me a picture of the MF4150 which had the top loader I really wanted. I'm glad I looked into it because I'll never go back to the style you need to lift the top again. Having said all that this is a very nice machine and I see it went up a little in cost, maybe that's why?? Follow ALL the directions! Most of all I love the answer/fax feature which allows the machine to determine an incoming call as a call or fax and responds accordingly :) No more "call me 1st so I can turn my machine on"..
Compared to my previous unit which was a Xerox I will say it doesn't seem as durable. A lot of the parts seem flimsy but only in comparison because it's actually nicely constructed. Hopefully I get many years out of this. Prints very fast too!
