Customer Review: Camera's Great - Kit's a Little Hokey

First, the camera. People are always impressed with the quality of footage this little camera puts out. As one friend told me, "it's looks almost like it's a tv program!" So let there be no doubt - the camera deserves 5+ stars.
The kit, on the other hand, not so much. The tripod is flimsy (I ended up buying another after just using this one about three times) and the bag is too small, particularly if you need to carry a light, microphone, and extra tapes and batteries. I certainly appreciated the cleaning kit, extra tapes, and extra batteries, but after going over all of the prices, I'm not so sure I came out ahead by purchasing the bundle. If you only need the camera (and no mic or light) and will primarily be holding it by hand, then this bundle will probably work. If you have aspirations for more serious work, then forego the bundle and buy everything separately as you can afford it.
Once again, the quality of the camera is spectacular.
