Customer Review: Easily lost accessory

When used with an EP-EX2 eyepiece extender - this rubber clip is easily lost with the whole assembly as the eye extender is not anchored/locked on the camera body flange and will eventually work its way up and off the camera. I use this eye accessory group on both my new 40D and older 300D (dRebel).
As an added positive bonus - it also holds my diaptor eyeglass compensator as part of the complete accessory assembly. Rubber clip Eb, rubber eye cup, diaptor and EP-EX2 eyepiece extender complete the task of keeping oily cheecks off the LCD viewer of the camera - but the photographer fights a losing battle of resetting the eyepiece after every shot - even just to make sure it is still there. Overall this combination gets very expensive when having to replace lost pieces.
Does the entire eyepiece accessory suite work? Yes for the most part. Still need eyeglass cleaner or an LCD protector for the 3" viewer on the 40D. This clip holds everything to the EP-EX2 and this is the point where we can lose the whole assembly. Need to be careful removing from the camera bag or Pelican case - as here is where the eyepiece extender is most vunerable for riding up and off the camera and disappearing.
