Its a decent accessory to have in the bag. The only thing (almost a non-issue, really) is that it works only when you're facing the front of the camera (lens side), since this is IR and needs line-of-sight. I'm looking to use it to shoot the night sky with a wide lens in Bulb mode, so now I just need to click by sticking my arm out in front of the camera's IR receiver. Ah so much more effort! :P
Also, this works at upto 15ft, which is great for most occasions.
