I've had this printer for almost a year now. My fiance bought it for me as my birthday present in July. At first the functions can be a bit tricky to use. To scan or copy you have to push the black AND color buttons together to start a scan or copy. For a while I had very frustrating moments with it not knowing what was going on. This printer and all the functions are VERY simple to use as long as you think simply.
I also like the printer properties/settings. With other printers I've had, if either color or black cartridge ran out I would not be able to print. With this you can enable/disable combinations of which cartridge you want to use.
I've also printed a couple pictures and they turn out beautifully!
I've been through many inkjet printers and this has been the best one yet. I'm thinking about buying one for my mom and sister who frequently need a copier.

Used this for more than six months. Works great. Never jammed, the cartridges that came with the printer lasted all these months for a light home use. The reason for the three stars is that the refill ink costs around 45 bucks. I would have rated this five stars if the refills original/generic were available for 15-20 bucks. I am a light home user, and bought this because my old printer was a parallel port printer and a bit long in the tooth. I considered an adapter, but it really was about time for a new printer anyway, and I also wanted a scanner, which my old printer wasn't. I am, as I said, a very light user (I can go a week without printing a page or scanning a document) so for me this unit made a lot of sense.
The print quality is actually pretty good. I find the scanner a bit pokey to use, but it works. It is a tad on the loud side, and not terribly fast. I could not care less about these points for my usage, but as part of an especially busy home business, there might be better options. But for a cheap scanner/copier/printer, I am thrilled.

Lots of BUGS, like erroneous error codes when the print strip is dirty. When it first works, it is great. Prints great, scans great, just great, BUT there is the error code that often occurs if you printer sits and get too much dusk or ink this siding ribbon used with the print cartridges. Once this error code occurs, it was almost impossible to figure out what the problem actually was. I have to put in all new cartridges AND alcohol wipe down the internal printer strips and little nooks. Sad situation for such was could be a great little printer.
