Customer Review: Great Ink At Premium Prices

I like the combo pack, but none of the ink ever runs out at the same time. And I love Canon ink for photography which is the only reason I have the color printer. However, as with all proprietary inks, this stuff runs hundreds of dollars by the time the printer gives up the ghost, and that's why companies like Epson, HP, Canon etc. can sell printers for $55. Almost 80% of their profits come from in.
I do NOT suggest that you go to the secondary market inks. They just don't cut it when it comes to photos. Their fine for B&W stuff or just printing stuff off the Web, but when you consider that a 5x7 photo costs about 45¢ and an 8x10 about 65¢ to print with the Canon ink, don't take a chance on any other ink which does not give you the nuances in photos that you want.
Last, you will undoubtedly find that, once you've used this Combo Pack, you're going to have to buy individual cartridges, so I would suggest the Combo be purchased with the printer to get you going, and then find the best price for Canon individuals. P.S. The same goes for every printer you may buy. HP ink with HP printers etc.
The game is won by whoever dies the same day that the printer and all the ink go at the same time. That's what I'm shootin' for. I figure I'll live to see my great-great granddaughter marry 'bout 120 years from now.
