Summary: 5 Stars
If you want absolute, best sharpness, go with the 70-200 f/4. However, if you are shooting in low light and like a narrow DOF, and the luxury of IS, get this now! It is still a very sharp lens, and it is constructed to the highest quality. It does weigh a lot, but that is the price you pay for IS, and f/2.8.
