I have LiDE 20 for many years (scanned a lot of pictures and a lot of documents). I am still using it regularly. It always perform as expected and it is slim and light and power directly through USB. Since it is so good, I wanted to buy a second one (one at home, one at work). But LiDE 20 is out of market so I bought the LiDE 25. The LiDE 25 Windows driver is different to LiDE 20 but there is no sweat. The price is so low. I was paying $100 for the LiDE 20 but LiDE 25 cost only $50. The LiDE 25 has more features but I just want it to work like LiDE 20 and it did. Customer Review: Great Little Scanner

I really like this scanner. It was great for the price. I scanned about 40 or so pictures that I used on a website. Really easy to use no problems at all. It also is small in size and saves space. I remember the first scanner I had about 10 years ago. The thing was big and bulky and it took forever to scan. It also was pretty expensive. This is a nice scanner. It looks good and is compact. I mainly use it to scan documents and have only used it a couple of times for photographs.
The scan speed is a little slow but otherwise it works well and the included software is easy to use. This is my fourth scanner (over many years) and I am very pleased with this one for the price.
